In Siverek, the burned body of S.K., a 32-year-old mother of 4 who had been sought since August 8, was found inside a vehicle set on fire at the foothills of Karacadag. Her relatives, who could not hear from the young woman again, immediately reported the situation to police and gendarmerie teams.
HER BURNED BODY WAS FOUND INSIDE THE CAR
While search efforts initiated upon the report were ongoing, a report was received by the 112 Emergency Call Center that a car had been set on fire at the foothills of Karacadağ on the outskirts of the district. Gendarmerie and fire brigade teams dispatched to the scene, after extinguishing the flames, encountered a completely burned woman's body inside the vehicle, which had been reduced to a pile of scrap. The unrecognizable body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for identification, autopsy, and DNA analysis. In the same incident, Şiyar U., who was pulled from the car with serious injuries, was taken to the Intensive Care Unit of Şanlıurfa Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital for treatment.
THEY DIRECTED TEAMS TO WRONG LOCATIONS
According to the news in Nefes newspaper; within the scope of the investigation, 4 suspects, who were determined to be linked to the incident, to have concealed evidence of the crime, and to have misled law enforcement by directing them to different locations, were detained. After their interrogations were completed, the 4 suspects were sent to the courthouse in armored vehicles under extensive security measures. The suspects, brought before the court, were arrested and sent to prison on charges of "Intentional killing of a woman, concealing, altering, or destroying evidence of a crime." It was learned that the investigation into the case, for which a confidentiality order was issued, is being conducted in multiple directions.
FATHER AND SON ON THE RUN
The horrifying details behind the gruesome murder are also beginning to emerge. According to the claim, there was a romantic relationship between S.K. and Şiyar U., who was found seriously injured in the car. Noticing the pair going near Karpuzlu Village, Şiyar U.'s brother Sidar U. and his father followed the car and cut it off. It was alleged that the father, who stopped the car, told his son that having a relationship with a married woman was against traditions and asked him to end it; when Şiyar U. stated that he wanted to marry the woman, the argument escalated.

According to the initial findings, it was determined that Sidar U. first shot and killed S.K., the mother of 4 children, and then shot his brother Şiyar U., seriously wounding him. After the incident, in an attempt to cover up the evidence, the car containing S.K.'s body and the seriously injured Şiyar U. was doused with gasoline and set on fire. Security forces are continuing their operations to capture Sidar U., who is considered the murder suspect, and his father, who was at the scene.
