THE ARGUMENT TURNED INTO A FIGHT
The incident occurred yesterday at around 17:00 on Evliya Çelebi Street in Aşkan Neighborhood, Meram district. According to the information obtained, Tugay Sarı, who had a feud with Emin B. over a debt issue, encountered him on the street. The verbal argument that started between the two quickly turned into a scuffle.
SERIOUSLY WOUNDED WITH A KNIFE
During the scuffle, Emin B. seriously wounded Sarı with the knife he had with him. While Tugay Sarı collapsed to the ground covered in blood, the suspect Emin B. got into his car and quickly fled the scene. The horrifying moments were captured on the cell phone cameras of nearby citizens.
DIED IN THE HOSPITAL
Upon the reports of those around, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Tugay Sarı, who was seriously injured, was taken to Meram Faculty of Medicine Hospital by ambulance after initial intervention. However, despite all the doctors' efforts, Sarı could not be saved and lost his life.
SUSPECT CAUGHT IN A SHORT TIME
Following the incident, the murder suspect Emin B., who had fled, was caught and detained on Büyük Kumköprü Street in Karatay district as a result of police teams' pursuit. The suspect, who was found to have been injured in the fight, was taken to Konya City Hospital under police custody and treated.

After his procedures at the hospital, Emin B. was taken to the police station for questioning, and it was learned that the feud between him and the deceased Tugay Sarı stemmed from a debt issue. The comprehensive investigation launched by the police forces regarding the incident continues.
