A group of six people visiting the grave of Serhat Karabay, who lost his life six months ago in a gun attack in Sarıyer, Istanbul, was reportedly ambushed by a group of three individuals who opened fire. One person from the group of six, who was shot in the head during the ensuing clash after they retaliated, died. Enes B. (26) from the attacked group was seriously injured. Police teams detained five suspects in connection with the incident, while efforts to capture three fleeing suspects are ongoing.

THEY SET A TRAP AT THE GRAVE VISIT
The incident occurred yesterday around 4:00 PM in Ayazağa. According to the information obtained, an armed conflict broke out between a group of 6 people visiting the grave of Serhat Karabay, who lost his life due to a gun attack in Bağcılar Demirkapı neighborhood 6 months ago, and a group of 3 people who also came from Bağcılar. One person, shot in the head, died at the scene; Enes B. was injured.
CONFLICT BROKE OUT IN THE CEMETERY
The injured Enes B. was taken to Seyrantepe Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital by his friends. It was determined that Enes B. was injured in the right knee and was placed under treatment. Police teams, who initiated an investigation into the incident, found that the group of 6 visiting Serhat Karabay's grave was attacked by a group of 3 people in a car in the cemetery as they got out of their vehicle. Ibrahim O. (22) from the group of 6 responded with gunfire. It was determined that 1 person, whose identity has not yet been identified, from the group of 3 lost their life at the scene during the conflict between the two groups.
5 SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY, 3 SUSPECTS WANTED
During the investigations at the scene, a large number of empty cartridges were found, and an unlicensed pistol was seized next to the deceased person. Police teams captured the suspects involved in the incident: Enes B., Hekim Azat K. (23), Erhan M. (24), Vedat T. (25), and Agit A. (22). It was learned that the detained suspects had a total of 17 criminal records with the police. It was also learned that efforts to capture 2 suspects from the group of 3 who fled after the incident and Ibrahim O., who was determined to have opened fire during the conflict and has 2 criminal records, are ongoing. The investigation conducted by the Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Branch Directorate is continuing.
