BLOODY CONFRONTATION AT MIDNIGHT IN ŞİŞLİ The incident occurred at around 01:00 on Tuesday, May 26, at a workplace in the Gülbahar neighborhood of Şişli. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between Doğuş Cebeci and Emircan K. (age 26), who had a pre-existing feud over a girl issue. The argument, witnessed by Emre M. and Arda Can K. at the workplace, escalated quickly when A.İ.K. and Emre Ş., who were acting with Emircan K., became involved. As the verbal dispute turned into an armed fight, the parties opened fire on each other.
12 BULLETS HIT HIS HEAD AND BODY In the ensuing armed clash, Emre Ş. was injured in his right leg, while Doğuş Cebeci became the target of a hail of bullets. Cebeci was seriously wounded after being hit by a total of 12 bullets—2 to the head and 10 to various parts of his body.
Upon notification, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Emre Ş., who fled the scene injured in a vehicle with license plate 34 EK 2337, was taken to the hospital. Doğuş Cebeci, who received first aid from medical teams and was taken to the hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost his life.
Doğuş Cebeci ESCAPE ENDED IN ÇATALCA Teams from the Public Order Branch Directorate's Homicide Bureau seized 2 unlicensed pistols at the scene during their investigation. Examining the surrounding security cameras, police determined that the suspects left the scene in a vehicle belonging to M.U. and fled toward Çatalca. Continuing technical and physical surveillance, the teams identified that the suspect, injured in the leg, had been brought to Çatalca State Hospital for treatment.
6 SUSPECTS CAUGHT IN OPERATION ARRESTED In an operation at the hospital, a total of 8 people, including 1 minor, who were at the scene and determined to be acting with the suspects, were captured and taken into custody. During their interrogation at the police station, the investigation confirmed a feud between Emircan K. and the deceased Doğuş Cebeci over a girl issue. After proceedings at the police station, 6 of the 8 suspects were referred to the courthouse and arrested by the court, while 1 suspect was released under judicial control.
