Adrienne Curry, the winner of the first season of America's Next Top Model, revealed that her breast implants caused her natural breasts to rot, leaving her with "Frankenstein breasts" and "dead tissue." The 42-year-old former model shared her painful experience with implants in an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun and warned other women about the dangers of this surgery. "I was young, and my breasts were perfect. I had a measurement between B and C cup, and I was happy with that. However, I knew I had a genetic flaw - the right side of my breast was caved in. My sister has the same issue. It looked like someone had kicked my breast," she explained. Curry said, "Because of this deformity, I got special permission to use silicone implants even before they were on the market. I accepted this as normal in an environment in Los Angeles where everyone was getting breast surgery." Stating that she was at peace with her breasts, but that a hurtful comment made by a man she was with affected her psychologically, Curry said, "I started to feel inadequate. I wish I could go back in time and slap my younger self. Now when I look at that younger version of myself, I would give anything to look like that," she said. After paying $15,000 to one of the best surgeons in Beverly Hills in 2006, Curry said her body immediately rejected the implants, stating, "I experienced severe nerve damage. I couldn't lift my arms without pain because my breast muscles were cut and separated from my rib cage." When she had her implants removed in 2020, the former model noted that her worst fears were confirmed and shared striking photos documenting her experience. Curry continues to warn other women to avoid similar pain.
