Aylin Polat Dağ, who was shot in the head with a gun by her estranged husband at a station in the Gebze district of Kocaeli, has died in the hospital. It has been learned that the murdered woman had obtained a restraining order against her husband.

SEVERELY INJURED
Polat Dağ was severely injured, while the attacker fled. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of those nearby. Polat Dağ, who was taken to Gebze Fatih State Hospital, could not be saved. The fleeing suspect was apprehended by the police.

It was learned that Aylin Polat Dağ worked as a classroom teacher at a school in Gebze, lived in Istanbul, and had obtained a restraining order against her husband, who was in the process of getting a divorce.
