Polish volleyball player Agnieszka Korneluk, who transferred to the Fenerbahçe Women's Volleyball Team at the beginning of the season, announced that she has ended her volleyball career after the completion of the season.
"I GAVE VOLLEYBALL ALL MY HEART"
Stating that she loves volleyball very much, Korneluk bid farewell to her fans and volleyball, expressing that she wants to realize her bigger dreams in her new life and will pursue them.
Here is Korneluk's retirement statement:
"Why was I postponing this farewell? Because no one likes goodbyes, but this farewell is special. After over 20 years of training and professional career, this chapter of my life is now coming to an end.
This farewell will not be a sad one; it will be filled with positive emotions like volleyball. Those who know me have seen my tears and anger, but I have always been genuine. I thank my family, friends, and everyone who helped me grow and were by my side on this journey.
Fans… Without you, we wouldn't be us. Representing the national team was always a great pride for me. I gave volleyball all my heart. Now, with another love, I want to realize my other big dreams in life. I thank God for the injury-free years and for this journey."
