The Legal Consultancy of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has referred Burak Yılmaz to the Professional Football Disciplinary Committee (PFDK) with precautionary measures for statements he made after the match against Çaykur Rizespor during his tenure as the head coach of Gaziantep FK, citing actions contrary to sportsmanship, insult, violation of personal rights, and statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football.

BURAK YILMAZ REFERRED TO PFDK FOR 4 SEPARATE VIOLATIONS
The statement said, "It has been decided to refer GAZİANTEP FOOTBALL CLUB A.Ş. Club's technical director BURAK YILMAZ to the PFDK as a precautionary measure starting from 14.04.2026, in accordance with Article 36 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to his 'unsporting conduct' in the Trendyol Süper Lig Mehmet Ali Yılmaz Season match between ÇAYKUR RİZESPOR A.Ş. and GAZİANTEP FOOTBALL CLUB A.Ş. played on 13.04.2026, in accordance with Article 41 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to 'insult', in accordance with Article 41 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to 'attack on personal rights' contained in his statements made at the post-match press conference, in accordance with Article 36 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to 'unsporting conduct', and in accordance with Article 38 of the Football Disciplinary Instruction due to 'statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football'."
WHAT DID BURAK YILMAZ SAY?
Burak Yılmaz, who coaches Gaziantep FK, made statements after the Çaykur Rizespor match, announcing his resignation and expressing his reaction to the MHK and TFF.
