Burcu Biricik, who took a break from acting for a while, preferred a calmer life with her husband Emre Yetkin and their daughter Luna. Moving to Ayvalık with her family, Biricik started operating a 5-room boutique hotel there.
Burcu Biricik, who reached a wide fan base with the character "Nalan" she brought to life in the TV series "Camdaki Kız", has recently been on the agenda not so much for her career but for her new life built around her family.
The actress, who married photographer Emre Yetkin in 2016, made an important change in her life after becoming a mother in 2024.
AYVALIK BECAME HER NEW ADDRESS
After the birth of her daughter Luna, Biricik reshaped her life and chose to move away from Istanbul's hectic pace with her family.
The actress started living in Ayvalik because she wanted her daughter to grow up in an environment more intertwined with nature.
While Biricik spends almost all of her time in Ayvalik, especially during the summer months, she also goes there whenever she can during the winter.
SHE ADDED HOTEL MANAGEMENT TO ACTING
Burcu Biricik also stepped into a different business by opening a boutique hotel consisting of 5 rooms in Ayvalik together with her husband Emre Yetkin.
Rather than just establishing a business for holiday purposes, the couple created a space where they could lead a calmer life with their family.
Biricik's choice became one of the notable examples of the actress's recent preference to live away from the spotlight.
"OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE OUR CHILD IN A VILLAGE"
While explaining the reasons for bringing the establishment in Ayvalik to life, the famous actress particularly emphasized the conditions for raising their daughter.
Biricik said, "One of the purposes of us building that place was to be able to raise our child in a village and in a smaller place with a safe environment..." and explained that one of the main motivations behind this decision was for Luna to grow up intertwined with nature.
