Smoke began to rise from the engine section of a passenger bus traveling during the night hours at the Bolu crossing of the Anatolian Highway.

DRIVER WHO NOTICED THE SITUATION EVACUATED THE PASSENGERS

The bus driver, who noticed the situation, pulled the vehicle to the emergency lane and evacuated the passengers. The flames rising from the engine section quickly grew and engulfed the entire bus. Upon the notification, fire brigade and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. While gendarmerie teams took security measures around the area, the fire brigade intervened in the flames.

BUS TURNED INTO A PILE OF SCRAP METAL

The fire was brought under control and extinguished as a result of the teams' efforts. While there were no deaths or injuries in the fire, the passenger bus turned into a pile of scrap metal. The passengers on the bus continued their journey with another vehicle.
