Izmir Deputy Salih Uzun, who resigned from the Democratic Party, announced that he will join the CHP along with Istanbul Deputy Cemal Enginyurt.
The new addresses of İzmir Deputy Salih Uzun, who resigned from the Democratic Party and continues independently, and Istanbul Deputy Cemal Enginyurt have been revealed.
THEY ARE JOINING CHP
Uzun announced during a live broadcast that he would join CHP along with Enginyurt. Uzun stated, "We were already elected as deputies from the CHP lists. We had two options ahead of us. We could have continued as independents. If we are going to join a party, we thought that joining CHP, from which we were elected, is the most correct option."
"WE ARE FACING ATTEMPTS TO DIVIDE AND FRAGMENT THE OPPOSITION"
Uzun noted that their preferences were also related to current hot topics, saying, "But the main point is that a wave of lawlessness is coming towards us. We are facing attempts to divide and fragment the opposition. We needed to develop a stance against this."
THEY WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE GROUP MEETING
Salih Uzun also stated that they will participate in the CHP's group meeting at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) to be held on Tuesday.
