WILL STAND TRIAL ON ALL CHARGES
According to CNN, Judge Tony Graf announced his decision regarding 23-year-old Tyler Robinson, who is accused of killing Kirk and faces six different charges, including "aggravated murder."
Judge Graf ruled that Robinson, who objected to the charges against him, would stand trial on all charges. This paved the way for prosecutors to seek the death penalty against the defendant.
KIRK'S FAMILY WELCOMED THE DECISION
Kirk's family, who have been following the case, stated in a statement after the hearing that they welcomed the court's decision.

Charlie Kirk, an activist and social media personality known for his strong support of US President Donald Trump, died in an armed attack during an event he attended at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025.
Kirk, who was highly popular among young people, was known for the nonprofit organization "Turning Point USA," which he founded to spread conservative ideas.
In connection with the attack, Tyler Robinson was taken into custody following a tip from his family.
