Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca was attacked by a person among the crowd waiting for him after a talk he gave in Istanbul. While the security guards immediately neutralized the person, the incident was recorded with a mobile phone camera.

ATTACK ON CÜBBELİ AHMET HOCA

Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known as Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca among the public, was attacked after a talk he gave in İkitelli, Istanbul. The attacker, who emerged from the crowd, strangled and assaulted Ünlü. While Ünlü's security guards intervened immediately, the attacker was handed over to the police.

"STRANGLED AND ASSAULTED"

A post about the attack was shared on Ünlü's social media account, stating: "After giving a talk at an association in İkitelli, while leaving, during the moment when the crowd of believers were asking for prayers, he was attacked by someone in the dark with an obscene insult and an attempted assault by strangling his throat. Hocaefendi was saved by the immediate intervention of the guards. The person was apprehended by the police officers present and an investigation was launched."
