The war between the US-Israel and Iran has entered its 17th day. Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesman Ali Mohammed Naini responded to US President Donald Trump's remarks about the destruction of Iran's naval power, stating that the Strait of Hormuz is under Iran's control. Naini said, "If he has the courage, let him bring his ships to the Persian Gulf."

As the war between the US-Israel and Iran enters its 17th day with intense attacks, the statements from both sides have significantly raised tensions.

HISTORICAL CHALLENGE

Brigadier General Ali Mohammed Naini, spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), made statements regarding the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, claims about Iran's naval power, and military operations in the context of the war with the US and Israel.

Naini stated that the IRGC Navy is responsible for responding to enemy attacks at sea, and mentioned that military bases and warships belonging to the enemy have been targeted through missile and drone operations conducted in conjunction with air forces.

"THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ IS COMPLETELY UNDER IRAN'S CONTROL"

Responding to claims that the US has destroyed Iran's naval power, Naini said, "The Strait of Hormuz is completely under Iran's control. All ships flying different flags in the region, but owned by the US or the Zionist regime, have been targeted. The enemy, which claims to dominate the region and has destroyed Iran's naval power, should bring its warships closer to this area if it has the courage. They previously stated that they would control the Strait of Hormuz during wartime and ensure energy security, but now they have withdrawn from the scene."

"ENEMY WARSHIPS HAVE WITHDRAWN FROM THE REGION"

Naini stated, "After the attacks carried out by the Revolutionary Guards' cruise missiles on US warships located approximately 300-400 miles off the coast of the Oman Sea, and subsequently by the Iranian army, these ships have withdrawn from the region. They likely suffered serious damage and retreated for repairs. Thus, their operational duties have also been taken away. Additionally, other military elements of the enemy have met the same fate, and their naval bases are currently in disarray. All elements, including radars, air defense systems, ammunition depots, various infrastructures, numerous fighter jets, and electronic warfare systems, have been targeted."

"IF THEY HAVE THE COURAGE, THEY SHOULD BRING THEIR SHIPS TO THE PERSIAN GULF"

Referring to US President Donald Trump's statements about destroying Iran's naval power, Naini said, "Doesn't Trump say he has destroyed Iran's naval power? If he has the courage, let him bring his ships to the Persian Gulf."

"700 MISSILES AND 3,600 DRONES HAVE BEEN LAUNCHED"

Naini noted that Iran's air defense capacity has significantly increased, stating, "So far, approximately 700 missiles and 3,600 drones have been launched at US and Zionist targets. Additionally, the missiles currently in use are from about ten years ago, and many missiles we have produced during the 12-day war have not yet been used."

"THIS WEDNESDAY WILL BE CRUCIAL FOR THE ENEMY"

Naini stated that the end of the war depends on the enemy's acceptance of Iran's military and social deterrence, saying, "This Wednesday will be a burning Wednesday for the enemy. We aim to punish the aggressor and will continue our heavy and destructive attacks against the enemy."

US-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN

While negotiations continue between Tehran and Washington, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.

In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed. According to Iranian officials, the death toll from the US-Israel attacks has exceeded 1,348, and the number of injured has surpassed 17,000.
