CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı denied reports that Faik Öztrak had been appointed as the TBMM Group Chairman in place of Özgür Özel. Sarı stated that the CHP Headquarters has no such decision, said the claims do not reflect the truth, and called on media organizations to verify news with authorized sources before publishing.
Denials came from the party regarding the claims that Özgür Özel was removed from his position as the CHP Parliamentary Group Chair and replaced by Tekirdağ Deputy Faik Öztrak.
CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı stated that the news in some media outlets does not reflect the truth and announced that the party headquarters has taken no such action.

In his statement on social media, Sarı reminded that some news claimed a letter was sent to the Turkish Grand National Assembly by the CHP headquarters, alleging that Manisa Deputy Özgür Özel was replaced by Tekirdağ Deputy Faik Öztrak as the Group Chair.
CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı said regarding the allegations, "The said news does not reflect the truth, and our headquarters has not taken such a step."
"CONFIRMATION" WARNING TO MEDIA ORGANIZATIONS
In his statement, Sarı also called on media organizations, stating that they should be more careful about such news that is published without confirmation by authorized party officials.
ALLEGATION THAT CAME TO THE AGENDA IN THE MORNING WAS DENIED
In the morning hours, some news claimed that following the absolute nullity decision, the Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu administration applied to the Parliament Presidency to remove Özgür Özel, the elected CHP Chairman, from his title of Parliamentary Group Chair, and that Faik Öztrak was appointed in his place.
With the statement from CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı, the allegations were officially denied by the party.
