Claims regarding the death of Mansure Hojasteh Bakirzadeh, the wife of former Religious Leader Ali Khamenei, who lost his life in the US-Israel attacks, have been denied by Iranian state media. Iranian officials stated that Bakirzadeh is alive. The fact that Iran's new Religious Leader Mojtaba Khamenei did not mention his mother's name in his condolence messages also strengthened the claims that Bakirzadeh is alive.
The Iranian state media denied the death claims regarding Mansure Hujasteh Bakirzade, the wife of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Iranian officials announced that Bakirzade is alive, stating that the previously circulated news does not reflect the truth.
DEATH REPORTS DENIED
Sources close to Iran and the semi-official Fars News Agency stated that the reports claiming Bakirzade died in the attacks carried out by the U.S. and Israel on February 28 are not true. The statement noted that while there were claims that she was seriously injured in the attacks, the information regarding her death was described as "false."
During the mentioned attacks, a large-scale operation targeting Iran's high-level leadership was conducted, and it was reported that many high-profile individuals and some members of Khamenei's family lost their lives in the assaults.
NEW LEADER'S STATEMENT DRAWS ATTENTION
In news reported by Iranian media, it was mentioned that the new Religious Leader of the country, Mojtaba Khamenei, issued a condolence message for his father and some family members, while not mentioning his mother's name, which strengthened the claims that Bakirzade is alive.
