Scandalous claims were published that the Turkish Armed Forces prevented residents of some villages in Syria's Ras al-Ayn from returning to their homes. The Center for Combating Disinformation, which categorically denied the claims, said in its statement, "The situation of families wishing to return to the areas in question is being monitored within the scope of the SDF's integration process, in coordination with the relevant institutions in Syria."

The Center for Combating Disinformation of the Directorate of Communications denied the claims that the Turkish Armed Forces prevented the return of people to some villages in the Resulayn region of Syria. In the statement, it was stated that the claims in question did not reflect the truth and that efforts to maintain public order in the region were continuing resolutely.

"THE CLAIM THAT SYRIANS ARE BEING PREVENTED FROM RETURNING TO THEIR VILLAGES IS NOT TRUE"

The statement included the following: "The claim appearing in some international media outlets and social media accounts, that 'the Turkish Armed Forces is preventing the residents of some villages in Syria-Resulayn from returning to their homes,' is not true.

The situation of families wishing to return to the areas in question is being monitored within the scope of the SDF integration process and in coordination with the relevant institutions in Syria. There is no practice in which the Turkish Armed Forces prevents these returns.

It is strongly requested that no credence be given to deliberate and baseless publications that distort the process and seek to target Türkiye, and that information on the matter be followed only from statements by official authorities."
