Deputy Governor İhsan Ayrancı's father rebelled: Who said he committed suicide?

Deputy Governor İhsan Ayrancı, who was alleged to have committed suicide in Afyonkarahisar, was sent off on his final journey in the Suluova district of his hometown Amasya. Retired Mufti Adem Ayrancı, tearfully asking for forgiveness at his son's coffin, said, "My child was a person of complete faith. Who said my son committed suicide?"

Afyonkarahisar Deputy Governor and Secretary General of the Provincial Special Administration İhsan Ayrancı was found shot in his vehicle in front of a villa at Gecek Thermal at around 21:00 last night. It was reported that Ayrancı, who was taken to hospital, lost his life. A judicial and administrative investigation has been launched into Ayrancı's death.

RETIRED MUFTI FATHER ASKED FOR FORGIVENESS

After the official ceremony held in front of the Afyonkarahisar Governorate, the body of the deceased Deputy Governor was sent to the Suluova district of his hometown Amasya. As Ayrancı was being seen off on his final journey, retired Mufti Adem Ayrancı asked for forgiveness in tears at his son's coffin. 

"WHO SAID MY SON COMMITTED SUICIDE"

The words of retired Mufti Adem Ayrancı, who asked for forgiveness, saying that his son, who was found shot with a state-issued pistol, had had a mental breakdown: "They say my son committed suicide. My son was a man of complete faith. Who said my son committed suicide?" broke hearts.

Adem Ayrancı, who also hugged Afyonkarahisar Governor Naci Aktaş, who said, "We worked together for 8 months at the ceremony held in front of the Afyonkarahisar Governorate. I am extremely sad, I am in shock, I am hurt, I am angry, but none of these change this journey," said, "Give my child your blessing."

Amasya Governor Önder Bakan, AK Party Amasya MP Hasan Çilez, New Party Amasya MP Reşat Karagöz and many citizens attended the funeral. Ayrancı, 46, was buried in the Saygılı village cemetery.
