The critical threshold has been crossed in the process that began in Syria on January 29. At the ceremony held in Qamishli, it was announced that the SDF would end its armed activities and integrate into the Syrian state administratively, in terms of security, and militarily, while Hasakah Deputy Governor Ahmed al-Hilali stated that this step means accepting the dissolution of the YPG.

Türkiye's "Terror-Free Türkiye" vision has brought about a historic development in the Syrian field. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have decided to end their armed activities and unite with the Damascus administration.

"INTEGRATION" DECLARED IN QAMISHLI

At the ceremony held in Qamishli, attended by official representatives of the Damascus administration, it was announced that the process that began on January 29 had concluded successfully. Speaking at the ceremony, Abdi Şahin declared that Kurdish groups were fully integrated with the Syrian state administratively, in security, and militarily. Emphasizing that the liquidation steps had been completed, Şahin stated that with integration, a new era had begun and that profound changes in the administrative structure would occur in the coming period. Şahin also noted that political initiatives aimed at ensuring the rights of the Kurdish people are officially recognized in the Syrian Constitution would continue much more decisively from now on.

LIQUIDATION OF THE YPG ACCEPTED

This unification is considered a critical turning point in re-establishing central authority across Syria and ensuring territorial integrity. Ahmed al-Hilali, spokesperson for the presidency team responsible for overseeing the process and Deputy Governor of Hasakah, stated that this integration move by the SDF also signifies the official acceptance of the liquidation of the YPG, the organization's armed wing.

Al-Hilali, Deputy Governor of Hasakah, emphasized that past differences of opinion have not broken the bonds that unite Syrians. Stating that the government is determined to close the page filled with divisions and the traces of war, al-Hilali expressed that this step reflects the will to transition to a new era based on state order and the rule of law.
