There have been two negative developments regarding Youssef Chermiti, the young striker of Rangers, whom Galatasaray has put on its agenda in its search for a striker under the age of 23. While it was stated that the yellow-reds' offer of 20 million euros was rejected, the Portuguese footballer was injured in the match against Hibernian and left the game on a stretcher.

Galatasaray, aiming to add a young name to their forward line, has made a move for Youssef Chermiti, who wears the Rangers jersey. According to Sky Sports news, the red-yellows have submitted a 20 million euro offer to the Scottish club for the 22-year-old striker. The Rangers management, however, found this figure low and rejected the offer.

It was stated that the Scottish club plans to keep Chermiti in their squad for one more season and sell him for a higher transfer fee in the future.

LEFT THE FIELD ON A STRETCHER

Bad news also came from the pitch for Galatasaray regarding Chermiti. The Portuguese footballer, who started the league match against Hibernian in the starting eleven, got injured in the 36th minute. Unable to continue the game, Chermiti was carried off the field on a stretcher, and Naderi came on in his place. No clear statement has yet been made about the seriousness of the young striker's injury.

CONTRIBUTED TO 20 GOALS AT RANGERS

In 43 matches with the Rangers jersey, Chermiti has recorded 15 goals and 5 assists. The Portuguese footballer is among the striker candidates suitable for Galatasaray's U23 quota.
