While the driver and his brother first fought at the accident site and then caused difficulties for police teams on duty, checks determined that the driver who caused the accident was over 1.00 promille of alcohol. The driver, who was determined to be without a license, was issued a total administrative fine of 265 thousand TL under the relevant articles.
CAMERA RECORDINGS REVEALED THE LIE
According to the information obtained, in the traffic accident that occurred on Sivas Boulevard in Hunat Neighborhood, the car with plate 38 YC 579, driven by A.E., drove onto the median as a result of the driver losing control of the steering wheel. Upon the reports of those around, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. While checks by medical teams determined that no one was injured in the accident, A.E. and his passenger friend with him told police teams that A.E. was not the driver and that the driver had left the accident site. In camera examinations conducted by the teams, who did not find A.E.'s statement credible, it was determined that the driver was A.E.

Meanwhile, a fight broke out between A.E. and his brother M.E., who came to the accident site. The fight was calmed down in a short time, while the two brothers caused difficulties for the teams by saying that A.E. was not the driver and that M.E. was the driver. 265 THOUSAND TL FINE ISSUED
During checks conducted on A.E., who was taken to the police station, it was determined that he was over 1.00 promille of alcohol and without a license. An administrative fine of 265 thousand TL was issued to the drunk driver under the relevant traffic articles, and judicial proceedings were initiated against him for the offense of 'endangering traffic safety'.
It was learned that judicial proceedings would also be initiated against M.E., who said he was the driver, for false statement, while the car was taken to the parking lot by tow truck.
