Emrah's ex-wife Sibel Kirer, stating that she made the divorce decision herself, said, "We parted ways while still loving each other." Kirer, explaining that they continue to meet for their children, used the expressions, "In relationships and marriages, fatigue can occur over time; we got a bit tired too."
Sibel Kirer, who divorced singer Emrah in 2022, spoke about her ended marriage. Kirer, who was a guest on Esra Ceyhan’s program “A’dan Z’ye,” stated that she made the decision to separate and explained that they continue to meet for their children.
“WE SEPARATED LOVINGLY”
Kirer, who married Emrah in 2014 and has two children with him, described the divorce process with these words:
“We separated lovingly, and I wanted the separation. In relationships and marriages, fatigue can occur over time, and we got a bit tired too.”
THEY COME TOGETHER FOR THEIR CHILDREN
Kirer said that after their children were born, their attention and focus turned to them, and during this process she and her husband may have drifted apart.
Stating that even after divorcing they act together for their children, Kirer expressed that they eat together, go on vacations, and continue to make family memories.
“I WOULD MARRY HIM AGAIN”
Kirer, who was also asked on the program whether she would marry Emrah again, spoke highly of her ex-husband’s fatherhood. Stating that she thinks she chose the father of her children correctly, Kirer said that if she went back in time, she would make the same marriage again.
