170 KILOS OF SPOILED MEAT SEIZED
Teams from the Haliliye District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Municipal Police Department of Haliliye Municipality carried out a food inspection. During checks at butcher shops in the Veysel Karani and Karşıyaka neighborhoods, 170 kilograms of spoiled meat posing a threat to human health were detected.
The meat, which was stated to be kept for sale to citizens and restaurants, was confiscated and destroyed. While one of the businesses was sealed and banned from operating, an administrative fine totaling 128,405 TL was imposed due to violations of the legislation.
ALL OF THE EGGS WERE ROTTEN
In the inspection carried out by municipal police teams at a baked goods business operating in Süleymaniye Neighborhood, hygiene violations were revealed.
It was determined that all of the eggs used in the cakes at the business were rotten. Thereupon, a penal action was imposed on the workplace, and the workplace license was confiscated. The business was sealed and banned from operating.
