U.S. President Donald Trump, his wife Melania Trump, and senior officials were evacuated from the hall by security teams, while a Secret Service agent was injured by a bullet that hit his bulletproof vest during the incident.

After the security alarm, great chaos erupted in the hall. In images spread on social media after the attack, some guests headed for the exit in panic, while others were seen taking bottles of drink from the tables. The footage showed some guests taking the bottles with them, and others photographing these moments. Meanwhile, moments when some media members laughed after the attack also drew attention.
