Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek commented on Victor Osimhen, one of the most talked-about names on the transfer agenda. Özbek, who argued that Osimhen is a correct investment from an economic perspective, said he would not consider selling the Nigerian striker even for 100 million Euros.

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek commented on the transfer process and future of the team's Nigerian star Victor Osimhen.

''IT GIVES ME PLEASURE''

Sharing the joy of the championship, Dursun Özbek said, "The community is happy. Seeing that happiness gives me pleasure. Let this cup be a gift to our fans."

"I WOULDN'T SELL HIM EVEN FOR 100, WHY WOULD I?"

Stating that Osimhen's transfer was a correct investment, Dursun Özbek said, "You may have money, but you need courage for the cause you believe in. It wasn't hard for me to make this decision. When Abdullah Kavukcu called me, I told him to finish the deal without thinking. A striker at that level in the Champions League is worth no less than 35-40 million Euros! Is it better to give 40 million for an unknown, or to give 75 million for Osimhen, whom we know and have seen? If we put Osimhen up for sale now, how much would he be worth? I wouldn't sell him even for 100, why would I? Osimhen encouraged us. He did his part in terms of both prestige and benefit. I'm glad we transferred him."

SEASON PERFORMANCE

The 27-year-old Nigerian player, who played in 33 matches across all competitions this season wearing the Galatasaray jersey, delivered a performance of 22 goals and 8 assists.
