It has become clear that current president Dursun Özbek will run as the sole candidate in the election before the ordinary general assembly to be held in May at Galatasaray.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT MADE
The red and yellow club's board of council president Aykutalp Derkan announced on the club's official website that Dursun Özbek submitted the necessary documents for candidacy within the deadline.
NOTABLE CHANGE IN MANAGEMENT LIST
Özbek made changes to the management list for the new term. Vice president Niyazi Yelkencioğlu and managers İbrahim Hatipoğlu, Timur Kuban, and Ece Bora from the current management were not included in the new list. The new list includes names such as Sportif AŞ Deputy Chairman Abdullah Kavukcu, Ömer Sarıgül, Mecit Mert Çetinkaya, Mehmet Burak Kutluğ, and Özen Kuzu.
GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN MAY
Galatasaray Club's ordinary general assembly with elections is planned to be held on May 16 or 23. In the current picture, Dursun Özbek will enter the election as the sole candidate.
