Last months, 48-year-old presenter and writer Ece Vahapoğlu, who announced via her social media account that she had been diagnosed with rectal cancer, has successfully completed her challenging treatment process.
The famous name, who continued to work and produce during her illness and gave hope to many patients with her positive attitude, gave the expected good news to her loved ones at the latest event she attended.
"I HAVE NO PROBLEM RIGHT NOW, IT'S GONE"
Speaking to the microphones of the 2nd Page program, Ece Vahapoğlu announced that she had beaten cancer after approximately a year of treatment. Describing her victory as a "rebirth," Vahapoğlu shared her happiness with these words:
"It's gone. I have no problem right now, thank God. This summer, I am starting as a reborn Ece. I've been blowing out candles constantly lately; everyone thinks it's my birthday, but actually, I'm celebrating my rebirth."
"IT CAN HAPPEN EVEN TO SOMEONE WHO LIVES HEALTHILY"
Ece Vahapoğlu had shared those difficult days when she received her diagnosis with her followers months ago. Stating that she learned about her illness during routine check-ups at a time when she was grieving the loss of her mother and father one after the other, Vahapoğlu gave the following warnings and messages:
"On the day schools opened, I learned from a colonoscopy I had that I had 'rectal cancer.' After calmly getting through the shock of that first week, my chemotherapy treatment began. I did not become enemies with the tumor that appeared; I believed it would be a thorough cleansing. It can happen even to someone who lives as healthily as I do, eats a balanced diet, exercises, and does not skip yoga and meditation. Do not skip your check-ups."
NEVER STOPPED DURING HER TREATMENT
Despite the sensitive and tiring chemotherapy process, Vahapoğlu did not withdraw from her work life and social life; during this period, she released a new book and continued her television program work. Vahapoğlu, who emerged victorious from the struggle she entered by saying, "I will continue on my path with all my strength, without postponing the flow of my life—to set an example for all women who feel hopeless and unhappy," is now setting sail for a new life.
