Edirne Mayor Filiz Gencan, addressing the crowd gathered in front of the party building, gave a harsh response to the unfounded allegations about her. Emphasizing her loyalty to the CHP, Gencan used the following statements:
"The Republican People's Party is my father's home, to which I am wholeheartedly devoted. The Filiz who set out on December 4, 2023, and the Filiz standing before you today are the same Filiz... I will fight more, I will add more. Today we are all together here, and we will continue to be so."
