Fenerbahçe's new head coach Emre Belözoğlu made statements about İsmail Kartal, who left his position. Emre Belözoğlu, who was appointed after İsmail Kartal's resignation at Fenerbahçe, answered questions from members of the press at the signing ceremony held at Chobani Stadium. Belözoğlu also spoke about his predecessor İsmail Kartal, who took on the head coaching role at the yellow-and-navy club a total of 4 times across different periods.

Emre Belözoğlu, evaluating İsmail Kartal's repeated appointments at Fenerbahçe, stated that these decisions were at the discretion of the club's managements.
Belözoğlu said, "A coach coming and going 4 times is the favor of those who govern, and the incoming coach came because he deserved it."
HE TOOK OVER AFTER İSMAİL KARTAL
Following İsmail Kartal's resignation, Fenerbahçe management appointed Emre Belözoğlu to the head coaching position. At the signing ceremony, Belözoğlu also touched on the former head coach's efforts for the club, stating that Kartal served Fenerbahçe for years and did everything he could to be successful.
