Fenerbahçe head coach Emre Belözoğlu made statements after the 5-0 win over Çorum FK in the Süper Lig.
"A PERFECT START"
Evaluating the match, Emre Belözoğlu said, "Such a start is perfect in a word. Every match has things we need to detail. We will make an evaluation. Fenerbahçe has a very high quality. I need to say this. When our players stick to a certain organization, they produced a very beautiful game. We got the score with high quality. Afterwards, there are areas in the game where the organization needs improvement, both defensively and offensively. We will work hard to fix this. The players deserve congratulations; their desire to win was very high. We need a higher level of organization."
''I THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT''
Sending a message to the fans, the young coach said, "I thank our fans for their support. God willing, we will not let them down. We can do even better, much more. I will have a small criticism about this match. I believe my team will be better."
"WE ARE NOT GOOD, WE WILL BE BETTER''
Continuing his remarks, Belözoğlu commented, "It is not easy to have possession of the ball and build up repeatedly. We worked for 2 days to identify the reactions in the areas where you lose the ball. There is high quality. This is where quality and passion meet. Today we also put our intelligence into it. We allowed some second balls, that's a negative. You have to play realistically, you have to win. We will work on positioning and taking positions. We are not good at this. We will work more, we will get better."
"THE GAME WILL IMPROVE"
Finally, Emre Belözoğlu stated, "We will work to bring out the strongest aspect of the players. The players are hungry in both the Liverpool match and this match. We have a good group of players. We are just getting to know each other. There is an assistant of theirs on the bench. The game will improve, we believe. I believe in Fenerbahçe's greatness, the quality of the players, and our skill."
