President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his wife Emine Erdoğan hosted a dinner yesterday at the Presidential Complex in honor of the leaders and their spouses attending the 36th NATO Heads of State and Government Summit.
SIGNED BOOK GIFT TO NATO LEADERS
After the dinner, Erdoğan gifted the leaders a biographical work titled "The Politics of Courage: Erdoğan and the Rise of Türkiye," prepared by the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Foundation, along with a personalized signed letter as his personal gift.
The work, prepared in English with an international readership in mind, evaluates Turkey's recent political history through President Erdoğan's political life, focusing on critical decision moments, encountered challenges, implemented reforms, and long-term goals.
The book explores President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's leadership journey and Turkey's political, social, and institutional transformation over the past quarter century around the concept of "politics of courage."

In his letter accompanying the work, President Erdoğan stated: "History is not just the sum of lived moments, but the collective accumulation of decisions that shape those moments, intense efforts, and the vision built. The work, whose project director is Dr. Hümeyra Ş. Oktay, was prepared under the editorship of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Akif Kireçci.
The book was written by Prof. Dr. Kireçci, Prof. Dr. Gülnur Aybet, and Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün.
Bringing together academic knowledge and historical narrative, the study offers a holistic perspective evaluating Turkey's transformation from different dimensions.
