President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Tufan Erhürman was discharged this morning after completing comprehensive tests at Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital, where he was taken following a discomfort related to low blood pressure during an event he attended yesterday at the Old Presidential Building in Nicosia.
The President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Tufan Erhürman, was discharged from the hospital after experiencing discomfort last night.
ALL TESTS RESULTED POSITIVELY
In a statement made by the Presidency, it was noted that all tests conducted on Erhürman at the hospital resulted positively, stating, "President Erhürman, whose general condition is good, will rest for a period of time in line with his doctors' recommendations."
"HEALTH STATUS IS GOOD"
Health Minister Hakan Dinçyürek, in his statement regarding the treatment process, indicated that no risky findings were encountered in the coronary angiography performed on President Erhürman, expressing that the examinations were clean and that his general health condition is good.
"WILL REST FOR A FEW DAYS"
Erhürman was taken to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital's Cardiology Clinic as a precaution after his blood pressure dropped during an event he attended yesterday. While it was stated in the initial assessments that there was no life-threatening condition, a decision was made for further tests and observation to rule out possible cardiological causes.
In this context, after obtaining positive results from all laboratory examinations, imaging methods, and coronary angiography, it was decided to discharge the President.
Officials stated that Erhürman's health condition is good, but in line with his doctors' advice, he will rest for a few days and continue his official programs in a limited manner.
The President is expected to resume his duties according to the planned schedule after a short rest period.
