In Tekirdağ, the driver of a luxury car who failed to comply with a 'stop' warning was caught in a residential complex's parking lot. During checks, the driver was found to have 2.32 promille alcohol and pleaded with police for minutes, saying, 'Take my license but please don't impound the car, I beg you.' The driver's license was confiscated and the vehicle was removed from traffic.
During routine traffic checks in the Çorlu district of Tekirdağ, the District Traffic Bureau team issued a "stop" warning to a luxury car on Erdal İnönü Street.
HE IGNORED THE "STOP" WARNING AND WAS FOUND DRUNK
As the vehicle did not stop, the traffic team continued the pursuit. The driver was caught a few minutes later in a residential complex parking lot on the same street. During the traffic police's inspection, it was determined that the driver had an alcohol level of 2.32 per mille.
"LET ME PROSTRATE AT YOUR FEET, DON'T IMPOUND THE CAR," HE PLEADED
Upon hearing that his vehicle would be impounded, the driver O.C. pleaded with the police for minutes, saying, "Brother, take my license but don't impound the car. Look, take my license but let me prostrate at your feet, please don't impound the car." Despite his objections, the driver could not avoid the penalty. The car was towed to a custody parking lot, and driver O.C., who was found above the legal alcohol limit, was taken to the police station for his statement.
