A fire that broke out at a recycling facility in the Çerkezköy district of Tekirdağ grew rapidly in a short time as waste tires caught fire. The fire, which covered the sky with dense smoke, was brought under control after approximately 3 hours of intervention by firefighting teams, while 4 detached houses and 1 car inside the facility became unusable.

FLAMES SPREAD TO WASTE TIRES

The fire started at around 17:30 at the recycling facility in the Dörtevler area of Kızılpınar Neighborhood. The fire, which broke out in the section where waste tires were located for reasons not yet determined, spread over a wide area in a short time.
