Fenerbahce held their final training session open to fans ahead of their UEFA Champions League third qualifying round match against Sturm Graz. The yellow and navy blue fans showed great support for their team during the training.
Fenerbahce will host Austrian side Sturm Graz tomorrow in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, and have completed their preparations.
PREPARATIONS COMPLETED AT FENERBAHCE
The training session at Fenerbahce Can Bartu Facilities, managed by head coach Ismail Kartal, began with warm-up exercises, with the first 15 minutes open to the press. It was learned that the session, which continued with 5-on-2 ball possession and passing drills, included tactical work during the closed portion to the media.
AZIZ YILDIRIM FOLLOWED THE TRAINING IN PERSON
Fenerbahce Club President Aziz Yildirim watched the yellow-navy team's training in person. Yildirim, who arrived at the facilities with his executives, chatted briefly with the press after greeting the fans.
FANS DID NOT LEAVE THE TEAM ALONE
Fenerbahce fans did not leave the team alone in the final training session before the Sturm Graz match. Over a thousand fans who arrived at the facilities before the session were taken to the sideline. The fans, who watched part of the training on site, lit flares and chanted support for the players.
