WHO IS FERDİ TAYFUR?Born on November 15, 1945, in Adana, the artist, whose full name is Ferdi Tayfur Turanbayburt, was named after the dubbing artist Ferdi Tayfur, whom his father Cumali Bey admired. After his father's death, his education came to an end, and although his mother remarried and he wanted to study, he could not find the opportunity due to the poor and tragic life he lived. During his childhood, Tayfur worked as an apprentice in his stepfather's candy store. He learned to read and write in business life and later began to contribute to his family's livelihood by working on a farm, singing at weddings during those years.
