A fire broke out on the rooftop of a building in Istanbul's Gaziosmanpasa district. After extinguishing the fire, firefighting teams entering the apartment encountered a fully burned male corpse.
One person lost their life in a fire that broke out on the rooftop floor of a building in Istanbul's Gaziosmanpasa district.
FIRE PANIC IN THE BUILDING
The fire broke out in an apartment on the rooftop floor of a building in the Semsipasa neighborhood of Gaziosmanpasa. Flames quickly engulfed the rooftop floor, and upon notification, firefighting and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire was extinguished by firefighting teams, and residents affected by smoke were taken to the hospital after initial intervention.
MALE CORPSE FOUND IN THE APARTMENT
After the fire was extinguished, firefighting teams entering the premises found the completely charred corpse of a male in the apartment. Following examinations, the corpse was taken to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institution.
