During inspections at a business operating in the Şehitlik neighborhood, teams determined that there was flour that had expired and become infested with insects. A total of 7 tons and 100 kilograms of flour, which posed health risks if consumed, was documented in an official report together with the municipal police teams.
ALL OF IT WENT TO THE TRASH
The products kept under conditions contrary to regulations were seized for destruction after the necessary procedures were completed. The teams destroyed the products at the Waste Transfer Station. It was stated that the Metropolitan Municipality will continue its inspections at production, storage, and sales points without interruption to ensure the public has access to healthy and safe food.
