Footage from the dashboard camera of the accident in which 17-year-old Oğuzhan Tural lost his life after being hit by a tour bus in the Bafra district of Samsun has been released. The footage shows Tural jumping over the barriers and stepping onto the road, as well as the moment of the impact. The bus driver was taken into custody and then released with a travel ban abroad.
Footage from the vehicle camera has emerged of the accident in which Oğuzhan Tural (17) lost his life after being hit by a tour bus in the Bafra district of Samsun.
The accident occurred at around 01:00 the other day opposite a wedding hall on the Samsun-Sinop road. The tour bus with license plate 55 VE 465, driven by U.K., struck Oğuzhan Tural, who was trying to jump over the barriers and cross the road. Thrown by the impact, Tural suffered severe injuries after hitting his head on the roadside.
BUS DRIVER RELEASED
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the area upon the report. After initial medical intervention, Tural was taken to Bafra State Hospital by ambulance. He died there. Following the accident, the bus's camera recordings emerged. The footage shows the moments when Oğuzhan Tural jumped over the roadside barriers onto the road and the accident occurred. Meanwhile, it was learned that the bus driver was taken into custody and, after his statement, was released with a travel ban abroad.
