After taking office, Aksoy held his first meeting with the municipal council's staff members. He issued four important directives, including the construction of parks for children with disabilities.

HE HELD HIS FIRST MEETING



After trustee Can Aksoy was appointed, he held his first meeting with the municipal council's civil servant members. In the meeting, upon Aksoy's instructions, it was decided to create parks for disabled children, to place weighing scales in markets where citizens can measure suspicious weights, to arrange sanitary areas accessible to women in market areas, and to establish a "Call Police" line to maintain order in the markets.



WHO IS CAN AKSOY?



Can Aksoy was born in 1983 in Altındağ, Ankara. Originally from Kırşehir, Can Aksoy completed his primary and secondary education in Keçiören, Ankara, and continued his higher education at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Ankara University, graduating in 2005.



During his university years, he voluntarily interned at the Turkish and Middle Eastern Public Administration Institute (TODAIE) Local Government Research and Training Center (YAYEM) (2002) and at the General Directorate of Laws and Decisions of the Prime Ministry of the Republic of Turkey (2003).



In 2006, he started his career in the Civil Administration as a Kırşehir District Governor Candidate, completing his Inspection Internship in Giresun Province, Accompaniment Internship in Polatlı, Ankara, and Provincial Internships in Kırşehir Province, and served as a deputy district governor in Korgun District of Çankırı Province (2006). In 2007, he was sent to the University of Leicester in England by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey for a year to participate in foreign language training and professional training programs. After his overseas education, he completed the 40th Public Diplomacy Course at the Turkish Middle East and Public Administration Institute. At the end of the District Governor Candidate Training process, he completed the 93rd District Governorship Course of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey with "Outstanding Success" status.
