Five people in the car that went under the truck lost their lives.

Four people died and two people were injured in a car that collided with a truck in Konya.

The car, driven by Rüstem Selman Baş, collided with a truck driven by Abuzer Ç. at the Alabağ location on the Afyonkarahisar-Konya highway while turning from the intersection. Upon notification, emergency health, police, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident. The car, which got stuck under the truck due to the impact, was removed by the fire brigade teams.

In the accident, the car driver and Lütfiye Baş and Ali Şentürk in the vehicle lost their lives at the scene, while Melek Şentürk and Sultan and Yasin Baş were severely injured. Yasin Baş, who was taken out of the car and transported to hospitals in the city by ambulance, could not be saved despite all interventions. It was reported that the treatments of Melek Şentürk and Sultan Baş are ongoing.
