While diesel saw a 2.92 TL hike on Saturday, August 22, vehicle owners can expect another increase. Gasoline is expected to see a 2.74 TL hike on Monday, August 24. With this increase, gasoline will reach 75.25 TL in Ankara, approximately 74.13 TL in Istanbul, and 75.55 TL in Izmir.

The wave of fuel price hikes continues. The pressure created by tensions between the US and Iran on oil markets and the movement in the exchange rate have pushed pump prices in Turkey up again. On Saturday, August 22, the price of diesel rose by 2 lira 92 kurus per liter, and now attention has turned to gasoline.

A new increase of 2.74 TL is expected in the price of gasoline per liter. The hike is expected to be reflected at the pump starting Monday, August 24.

NOW IT'S GASOLINE'S TURN

Immediately after the diesel hike, a new price expectation has emerged for gasoline as well. Gasoline is expected to see a price increase of 2 lira 74 kurus per liter.

If the expected increase occurs, gasoline prices are projected to rise to 75.25 TL in Ankara, approximately 74.13 TL in Istanbul, and 75.55 TL in Izmir. It is noted that prices may vary by a few kurus depending on the distribution company and the station.
