In the investigation into the Kuytulu group, senior executives were found to have connections with individuals who had undergone judicial proceedings under FETÖ/PDY. The lists of 9 suspects included 24 different FETÖ-linked names; 5 fugitive executives are being sought.

In the investigation into the Alparslan Kuytul criminal organization, connections were identified between some names in the organization's senior management and the Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETÖ).

KUYTULCULAR PLACED UNDER CLOSE MONITORING

The investigation into the structure known publicly as "Kuytulcular" continues. A new development occurred in the investigation into the Alparslan Kuytul criminal organization by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The prosecutor's office conducting the investigation examined the contacts of the organization's senior executives.  Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, in the studies conducted on the management structure of the Alparslan Kuytul group, the suspects' areas of duty and responsibility, as well as their telephone contacts, were scrutinized.

In the contact table in the file; Alparslan Kuytul was listed as 'founder-spiritual leader', Semra Kuytul as 'women's affairs officer', İzzet Daş as 'secretary', and Erol Ardıç as 'general officer-2nd man'. It was determined that the structure was also tiered into responsibilities such as education, internet, social media, press-publications, accounting, technical team, magazine, madrasah, and district levels.

CONTACTS WITH FETÖ MEMBERS DETECTED

The most striking part of the contact study, however, was the contacts established by the names identified as holding roles at various levels of the structure with individuals who had previously faced legal proceedings within the scope of FETÖ/PDY.

According to the file; in the contacts of Erol Ardıç, shown as the general officer, there were 4 names; in the contacts of internet officer Muhammet Yasin Birer, 3; in the contacts of social media officer Abdul Aziz Sapaz, 2; in the contacts of technical team officer İsmail Ataş, 2; in the contacts of education officer Harun Kızılboğa, 5; in the contacts of accounting officer Yusuf Tapan, 2; in the contacts of Ceyhan officer Ertuğrul Şekerci, 1; in the contacts of Furkan Nesli Magazine officer Hasan Kütük, 4; and in the contacts of Kardeşler Bookstore officer Yusuf Eren, there were 5 names with records of legal proceedings or being sympathizers within the scope of FETÖ/PDY.

When the records in the file were evaluated together, it was seen that the contact lists of the 9 suspects in question included 24 different individuals who had faced legal proceedings or had records of being sympathizers within the scope of FETÖ/PDY. Due to some names appearing in the contacts of more than one Kuytul group officer, the total number of FETÖ/PDY-related records reached 28.

In particular, the repeated appearance of the same FETÖ/PDY-linked individuals in the contact lists of officers from different units of the structure is considered an important topic requiring investigation into the nature and continuity of the contact network in the investigation.

Within the scope of the operation, it was learned that İsmail Ataş, Erol Ardıç, Harun Kızılboğa, Yusuf Tapan, and Yusuf Eren are at large; while Hasan Kütük, who was previously sought as a fugitive, was caught.

A striking detail was that in the contact records of all 5 suspects still at large, there were individuals who had faced legal proceedings or had records of being sympathizers within the scope of FETÖ/PDY.

It was determined that in the contacts of Erol Ardıç, shown as the "general officer-2nd man" in the structure, Alican Öztürk, Havva Koçyiğit, Mehmet Tokdaş, and Hasan Duymaz had records of legal proceedings within the scope of FETÖ/PDY. In the contacts of education officer Harun Kızılboğa, it was learned that Alperen Çavuşoğlu, Burak Soylu, Yahya Çelik, Havva Koçyiğit, and Osman Yücel had faced legal proceedings within the scope of FETÖ/PDY.

FURKAN NESLİ MAGAZINE OFFICER KÜTÜK CAPTURED

Within the scope of the operation, Hasan Kütük, who was sought as a fugitive and identified as the "Furkan Nesli Magazine officer" of the structure, was caught. The file included information that Hasan Kütük had a record of legal proceedings in the past for "being a member of an armed terrorist organization" within the scope of DEAŞ-Al Qaeda. In Kütük's contact study, it was seen that the names Özlem Özdemir, Hasan Duymaz, Canan Tunalı, and Levent Gürbüzce had records of legal proceedings within the scope of FETÖ/PDY.

Contact was detected between fugitive accounting officer Yusuf Tapan and Özcan Yalım and Mahsum Sav, who have records of legal proceedings within the scope of FETÖ/PDY. Tapan's contact list also included a name with a record of legal proceedings within the scope of the PKK. In the contacts of Yusuf Eren, recorded as the officer of Kardeşler Bookstore, it was stated that Suna Giriş was a FETÖ/PDY sympathizer, and Havva Koçyiğit, Himmet Dinç, Bilal Dağ, and Ömer Faruk Giriş had records of legal proceedings within the scope of FETÖ/PDY.

It was determined that Muhammet Yasin Birer, the internet officer of the structure captured in the operation, had contact with Sinan Emre, Ahmet Demirhan, and Havva Koçyiğit, who had faced legal proceedings within the scope of FETÖ/PDY. In the contacts of social media officer Abdul Aziz Sapaz, it was also recorded that Yasin Eren and Mehmet Özel had records of legal proceedings within the scope of FETÖ/PDY.

The contact list of Ceyhan officer Ertuğrul Şekerci included Mustafa Aslan, who had faced legal proceedings within the scope of FETÖ/PDY, and Rıdvan Budak, who had faced legal proceedings within the scope of the PKK.

The contact study included not only records of the individuals the suspects contacted, but also the past legal proceedings of some organization executives. In the table, it was stated that Alparslan Kuytul had a record of legal proceedings under the heading "being a member of an armed terrorist organization."

The file also included records of legal proceedings for secretary İzzet Daş, Seyhan 2 officer Murat Temizkan, and Yüreğir 1 officer Ali Alagöz, as well as captured Hasan Kütük and fugitives Erol Ardıç and Harun Kızılboğa, for the crime of being a member of an armed terrorist organization within the scope of DEAŞ-Al Qaeda.

While a total of 20 names were included in the table prepared within the scope of the investigation, with the capture of Hasan Kütük, the number of captured suspects, including Alparslan Kuytul, rose to 15. It was learned that 5 suspects, stated to hold critical roles in the structure, remain at large.

The presence of numerous individuals who had faced legal proceedings within the scope of FETÖ/PDY in the contact network of the senior officers of the Alparslan Kuytul criminal organization stood out as one of the notable aspects of the investigation.

It was learned that in the investigation conducted by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it is being examined in a multifaceted manner whether the obtained contact data constitutes an organizational link, the nature of the contacts, and how these relationships are reflected in the activities of the structure.
