Galatasaray announced the transfer of Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich. The German player has signed a 3-year contract with the Yellow-Reds and will earn an annual salary of 9 million euros.
The Super Lig giant Galatasaray officially announced Leroy Sane, whose transfer was reported to KAP. The yellow-reds revealed the cost of the star player.
In a statement made on the club's official website, it was stated, "A contract has been agreed with professional football player Leroy Aziz Sane, starting from 01.07.2025, for a duration of 3 seasons. According to the agreement, the player will receive a net guarantee salary of 9,000,000 Euros for each season, along with a loyalty bonus of 3,000,000 Euros."

After the signing ceremony, Sane stated, "I am eager to give my all for this club, achieve success with this team, and meet with our fans."
President Dursun Özbek also spoke about the transfer, saying, "We will build a team that will fight the hardest in the Champions League. Sane jerseys are on sale, and we expect hundreds of thousands of these jerseys to be sold. We need the great support of our fans."
Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş Vice President Abdullah Kavukcu stated, "One of the biggest factors in bringing Sane here is our fans. We are all here for Galatasaray. We expect another record with Sane products from our fans."
LEWIS SANE'S CAREER
Leroy Sane started his football career in the youth team of Germany's SG Wattenscheid, later playing in the youth teams of Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen.
The German player returned to Schalke in 2011 and was promoted to the first team in 2015. A season later, he signed with Manchester City for 52 million euros, and returned to the Bundesliga in 2020.
Last season, the German star played 45 matches for Bayern Munich, scoring 13 goals and providing 6 assists. Throughout his career, Sane has won championships in the FIFA Club World Cup, Bundesliga (4), Premier League (2), UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, German Super Cup (2), English League Cup (2), and Community Shield (2).
