Galatasaray has reached a happy conclusion in the number 10 transfer. The yellow-reds have reached an agreement for the transfer of 21-year-old Aleksey Batrakov, who plays for Lokomotiv Moscow. The 21-year-old footballer is expected to arrive in Istanbul today.
According to information shared by Russian journalist Ivan Karpov, Galatasaray will pay a transfer fee of 25 million euros to Lokomotiv Moscow. The agreement also includes a 4 million euro bonus and a 10 percent share to be given to the Russian club from any potential future sale of Batrakov. Galatasaray will pay the transfer fee in installments, with the final installment's due date not exceeding December 2027.
OKAN BURUK CONVINCED HIM WITH A VIDEO CALL
It was stated that head coach Okan Buruk played a significant role in Batrakov's preference for Galatasaray. During the negotiations, which have been ongoing for about a month, Buruk held a video call with Batrakov, explaining to the young player his plans at Galatasaray, the attacking system, and the expectations from him. It was noted that the 21-year-old footballer rejected offers from France, Italy, and Spain and chose Galatasaray.
SAID GOODBYE WITH A GOAL
On Friday, Batrakov played his final match for Lokomotiv Moscow against Orenburg. The young star bid farewell to his team with a goal, hitting the back of the net. It was also learned that Batrakov followed Galatasaray's match against Çorum FK after the game.
EXPECTED TO ARRIVE IN ISTANBUL TODAY
According to HT Spor's report, Galatasaray's new number 10, Aleksey Batrakov, is expected to arrive in Istanbul today, August 18, to sign the official contract and join the team. The yellow-reds aim to complete the official procedures promptly and include the young player in the squad for the away match against Erzurumspor.

Last season, Batrakov delivered a performance of 17 goals and 12 assists in 36 official matches. The 21-year-old footballer started this season with 1 goal and 1 assist in 5 matches.
