The yellow-red team collected 10 points with 3 wins, 1 draw, and 4 losses in the 8 matches they played, managing to qualify for the play-off round.

Galatasaray, which directly participated in the Champions League, earned approximately 36 million euros in total revenue with its performance in the league stage. After losing to Frankfurt in the first match, the yellow-reds strengthened their claim for the top 24 with a winning streak and a draw against Atletico Madrid. With this figure, Galatasaray ranked 29th in the list of teams earning revenue from the Champions League. The team with the highest revenue in the tournament was Bayern Munich, with 97 million euros.
POINTS FROM BIG TEAMS FILLED THE COFFERS
The points Galatasaray earned from strong European teams like Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, and Ajax provided not only prestige but also a significant economic contribution. In UEFA's new system, teams earn additional income based on league rankings, as well as victory and draw bonuses.
PERFORMANCE BONUS EMERGED
It was learned that the performance bonus earned by the yellow-reds, finishing the league stage in 20th place, is 4.6 million euros. This amount, equivalent to approximately 300 million TL, made a significant contribution to the club's European revenues.
MANAGEMENT'S HAND HAS RELAXED
With the revenue obtained, it is expected that the Galatasaray management will be able to operate more comfortably regarding season planning and squad restructuring. The yellow-reds aim to strengthen their financial structure with stable performance in Europe.
REVENUE SYSTEM IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
In the Champions League, teams earn performance-based rewards in addition to broadcasting revenues. This season, the participation fee is set at 18.62 million euros, with payments of 2.1 million euros for each win and 700,000 euros for a draw. Additional income ranging from 275,000 euros to 2 million euros is provided based on league rankings. In the play-off round, 1 million euros is awarded, 11 million euros in the round of 16, 12.5 million euros in the quarter-finals, and 15 million euros in the semi-finals. In the final, 18.5 million euros is distributed to both teams, while the champion team earns an extra 6.5 million euros.
