Galatasaray reporter Burhan Can Terzi was detained by order of the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of 'publicly disseminating misleading information.' An investigation had previously been launched against Terzi regarding his reports on the Musiala transfer and statements he made after the club issued a denial.
According to Burak Doğan's report, Galatasaray reporter Burhan Can Terzi was detained as part of the investigation conducted by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. It was stated that legal action was taken against Terzi within the scope of the charge of "Publicly Disseminating Misleading Information."
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED OVER MUSIALA NEWS
Burhan Can Terzi had been complained about due to his reports regarding Galatasaray's transfer of Jamal Musiala. After Galatasaray issued a rebuttal concerning the said transfer news, an investigation was launched against Terzi due to his statements.
TAKEN TO SECURITY BRANCH DIRECTORATE
It was learned that Burhan Can Terzi, who was detained, was taken to the Security Branch Directorate of the Istanbul Provincial Police Department to continue the investigation procedures. The investigation procedures against Terzi are ongoing.
