NATO DEFENSE ELEMENTS HAVE BEEN ACTIVATED
A ballistic munitions fired from Iran and detected heading towards Turkish airspace was neutralized in the air by NATO air defense systems. The debris of the destroyed missile fell into vacant lands in Gaziantep, and there were no casualties in the incident.
"THE ISSUE IS NOT JUST THE MISSILE, BUT THE MIND BEHIND IT"
After the incident, Ali Şahin conveyed his best wishes to his fellow citizens and emphasized the strength of Turkey's security reflexes in a statement made on his social media account. Şahin stated that the threat is not limited to its physical dimension, saying: "We should focus not only on the physical launch points and sources of the missiles that fall on our lands but also on the mind-intent points and sources behind them. Regardless of their origin and purpose, no attempt against Turkey will be allowed."
