Following the leukemia diagnosis of Cinja, the girlfriend of our National Team player Eren Dinkçi, who plays for the German Bundesliga club Heidenheim, the football community has initiated a massive wave of solidarity.
TWO CLUBS, ONE HEART
Heidenheim and Freiburg clubs have signed a meaningful collaboration. Joining hands with the German Bone Marrow Donor Center (DKMS), the clubs decided to organize two major donor registration events under the slogan "For Cinja and Others."
THEY CAN APPLY TO BECOME DONORS
In this direction, it was stated that special areas will be set up around the stadiums to allow fans and concerned citizens to easily register as donors. The first will be held around the Europa-Park Stadium during Freiburg's away match on April 19th, and the second around the Voith-Arena during Heidenheim's home match on April 25th. Fans will thus be able to apply to become bone marrow donors. The campaign aims to be a beacon of hope not only for Cinja but also for thousands of leukemia patients awaiting a compatible donor.
