GÜLBEN ERGEN AT THE COURTHOUSE FOR TESTIMONY
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had summoned famous individuals as "witnesses" within the scope of the investigation against the Ahbap Association, based on allegations that donation money was used for illegal betting and gambling.
Famous singer Gülben Ergen was also summoned to testify in this context. Today, Ergen came to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan to give a statement, accompanied by her lawyer.
"EVIL FROM GOODNESS"
Gülben Ergen answered journalists' questions at the courthouse entrance. Ergen said, "Evil arises from goodness. Like everyone else, I am very sad. I also feel victimized because I made a donation. Like all well-intentioned people, considering the money children saved from their allowances and sent during earthquake times and fire times... Unfortunately, our donation was also included. I am very sad and very hurt."
